FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions

How often do we meet?
Per the Texas State Board of Examiners of Professional Counselors, supervision must occur at least four hours per month, and no more than half of those hours can be in a group format. We will create a schedule that meets these requirements while fitting your professional needs.

Do you offer individual and group supervision?
Yes. I offer both individual and small group supervision. Group supervision provides an excellent opportunity to learn from peers, while individual supervision allows for deeper case consultation and one-on-one support.

Do you help with Board paperwork?
Absolutely. I guide LPC-Associates through completing supervision agreements, documenting hours, and staying compliant with Texas Board requirements.

What is your supervision style?
I take a collaborative, attachment-based approach. I believe supervision should be both supportive and growth-oriented—helping you feel confident, ethical, and prepared to handle complex cases.

Do you supervise a specific focus area?
My areas of specialty include women’s issues, maternal mental health, couples therapy, attachment, and narrative approaches. However, supervision also covers a wide range of clinical skills, ethics, and professional development.
